A trilingual (German / English / French) highly detailed tourist map and travel guide to Morocco. Of the more than 200 destinations marked on the map page, over 150 are described in greater detail on the travel guide page and include coordinates.
With background information on history, sightseeing opportunities, and other points of interest.
• Hikes through virtually untouched nature around Jbel M’Goun

• Caves — some of which were once inhabited — and springs, not only in the Rose Valley
• Ighrem Sidi Mossa in a prominent location
• Impressive mountain passes through the High Atlas
• Kasbahs in Toundoute, Boumalne Dadès, and El-Kelâa M’Gouna
• References to descriptions by Charles de Foucauld and Werner Wrage

The map is dominated by the three main rivers in the Aït Bouguemez and Dadès valleys, as well as the M’Goun Valley, whose lower reaches are known as the Valley of Roses. A concentration of points of interest along these valleys has led to a reorganization of the destinations on the guidebook page. Points of interest within the boundaries of the UNESCO M’Goun Geopark are highlighted.
A perfect blend of densely populated valleys with vibrant amenities and the solitude of rural areas makes this a place where you’ll want to linger. In a disused salt mine in the Oued Tabia Valley, bizarre salt crystals await discovery. Dinosaurs have left their mark everywhere, and in some caves you can still sense the presence of their former inhabitants.
Lovers of Berber architecture will feel right at home in the valleys. Buildings — some of considerable height and in varying states of preservation — make for excellent photo opportunities and are, in some cases, open to visitors. This page once again showcases the captivating combination of historical sites and stunning natural beauty.
