The map provides an overview of the Ways of St. James in Germany and categorizes them into main and secondary routes, as well as those still under development.
Germany has a dense, well-signposted network of over 30 different pilgrimage routes.
These routes, most of which are historic, run through all federal states and are connected to the main routes in France and Spain.
All routes are consistently marked with the classic yellow scallop shell on a blue background.
