Peaks of the Balkans (1:60 000)

The transnational “Peaks of the Balkans Trail” stretches 192 km through one of the most remote and wildest mountain regions in the Western Balkans. The goal of this new hiking trail is to bring the people of the various countries in the Prokletije mountain range closer together and to break down borders.
The “Balkans Peace Park Project” has worked to reopen the old shepherds’ and trade routes across the border. The “Peaks of the Balkans” hiking map shows the diverse and challenging hiking route through the mountains in the tri-border region of Albania, Kosovo, and Montenegro and includes a detailed description of the individual trail sections, including elevation profiles.
