EUROVELO 6 – Set 2
Basel – Budapest
The second part of this series, consisting of 7 maps, first takes you from Basel along the Rhine to Lake Constance. The route continues along the Upper Rhine to the Danube, which you follow through Germany, Austria, and Slovakia all the way to Budapest in Hungary. Along the way, you’ll pass not only the UNESCO World Heritage cities of Regensburg and Vienna, but also Ulm, Passau, and Bratislava, each with their own historic old towns worth seeing.
EUROVELO 6 – From the Atlantic to the Black Sea (1:100,000)
EuroVelo 6 is currently the first and only EuroVelo route available entirely at a scale of 1:100,000 within a series of cycling maps. The handy maps follow the route’s course across 3 sets on 24 map sheets, totaling 42 meters in length. A well-thought-out design: the map section, adapted to the river’s course, is large enough to be easily read from a distance while riding. Of course, you’ll also find other useful information along the route, such as lodging options, sights, bike repair shops, or city map sections for larger towns.
